Adidas Ultraboosts are some of the most popular running shoes out there. Thanks, in part, to their versatility: The bouncy, cloud-like sole is great for running, of course, but also for walking and casual wear. While the shoes are on the higher end of the price spectrum for Adidas (they retail around $200), we expect to see some pretty great Ultraboost Black Friday sales next month, as we have in years past.

If you know where to look, you can usually find a pair of Ultraboosts in the $100-$150 range. So I took to the internet to see what I could dig up ahead of the holiday frenzy, and found a few iterations (including the new Ultraboost Light, launched in February 2023, that claims to be 30 percent lighter than the original) on sale. Whether you’re getting into a running routine this fall or shopping for a runner in your life, these Ultraboost deals are worth the buy now.

The magic of the Ultraboost lies in its foam sole. A pioneer of the stacked cushion style proliferating the running shoe market today, the signature Ultraboost footbed and midsole are filled with Boost capsules that absorb shock and rebound off the pavement with each stride. Then, strips of Continental rubber on the outsole balance those soft landings with reliable traction and quick transitions.

As for the upper, most Ultraboost styles are made of a breathable wraparound knit for that sock-like feel, with an Adidas three-stripe lace cage overlay for stability. And an added bonus for Ultraboost fans, the knit used on the upper is made from (at least) 50 percent Parley Ocean Plastic, meaning that it uses yarn created from plastic waste found in our oceans.

One thing to note about these Ultraboost sales: on both Adidas’ site and on Amazon, pricing depends on the size and color that you choose. We’ll be keeping this post updated as more Black Friday Ultraboost deals drop, so if your size or preferred color aren’t on sale now, they will be soon.
